Bruce H. Connors

Bruce counsels small and medium-sized businesses and their owners in the purchase and sale of businesses, organization of corporations and limited liability companies, shareholders and partnership agreements, business financing, planning for and resolving business problems, employee relations, business insolvencies and restructuring, and personal asset protection planning. Bruce was selected by his peers in the profession for North Carolina Business magazine's "Legal Elite" in 2011 in the business attorney category.

He holds an undergraduate degree from Duke University, a master's degree from George Washington University and a law degree from Wake Forest University.

Bruce is a member of the North Carolina and Greensboro Bar Associations, past chair of the Business Bankruptcy Committee of the NC Bar Association Business Section, and past chair of the UCC Subcommittee of the Business Section of the NC Bar Association. He is also a member of the Greensboro Chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals.
Bruce is a long-time volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro, having served as a member of the Board between 1982-1997 and as President during 1994-1995.

John R. Morgan

John R. Morgan

John is an attorney and Certified Public Accountant, who focuses his practice in estate planning, estate administration, and the tax and financial aspects of retirement planning. John is a frequent speaker and writer on these topics for the North Carolina Bar Association and the North Carolina Association of CPAs. He has won numerous Outstanding Speaker awards from the NCACPA.

John is a member of the North Carolina and Greensboro Bar Associations, as well as the American Institute of CPAs and the North Carolina Association of CPAs. He is currently on the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Council and serves on various bar and CPA Committees at the state and local levels. John is on the Board of Directors of the Greensboro Bar Association, and completed a term as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Association of CPAs on May 6, 2009. John is also a member of the Greensboro Chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals.

John received his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his undergraduate degree from Pfeiffer University.

Paula A. Wells (formerly Sinozich)

Paula A. Sinozich

Paula practices in the field of corporate and general business law with particular attention on start-ups, business acquisitions and divestitures, shareholder and operating agreements, creditor and debtor issues, commercial leases and employment contracts.

A graduate of the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary, where she was project editor for the ABA's Administrative Law Review, she also holds a bachelor's degree from Marshall University and a master's degree from the University of Virginia, and is currently pursuing an M. Div. from Wake Forest University.

Paula is a member of the Greensboro and North Carolina Bar Associations and is licensed to practice in Maryland and Massachusetts as well as North Carolina. She has authored several articles in the American Jurisprudence 2d series, and lectures frequently on topics that concern the small business owner. Paula was nominated by her peers in the profession for North Carolina Business Magazine's "Legal Elite" for 2012 in the business attorney category.

Her community work included her membership on Crescent Rotary Club, the Woman's Professional Forum Foundation, and G.R.O.W. (Gathering Resources for Outstanding Women), of which she is a founding member.

She is a member and officer of the Greensboro Chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals and a co-chair of Piedmont Business Ethics Award.

Daniel W. Koenig

Daniel Koenig

Dan has extensive experience litigating matters on behalf of individuals and businesses of all sizes in state and federal courts, as well as representing the interests of his clients in voluntary and court-ordered mediation. Dan is a NCDRC Certified Superior Court Mediator. In his family law practice, Dan advises and represents clients in matters relating to separation, divorce, and adoptions, including equitable distribution of property, alimony, and child custody. Dan was selected by his peers in the profession for North Carolina Business Magazine's "Legal Elite" for 2012 in the family law category.

Dan is a member of the Triad Collaborative Family Law Practice Group (www.triadcollaborative.com), which provides an alternative approach to resolving family matters in a private, efficient manner that seeks to minimize the financial and emotional strains associated with separation and divorce. Dan also advises and represents businesses, religious organizations, and individuals in matters involving contracts, employment-related disputes, personal injury/wrongful death claims, insurance coverage disputes, estate disputes and will contests, unfair trade practices claims, among others.

Dan holds a B.A. in Political Science from Duke University and a law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor for the International Law Review and was published in the ABA's publication, The International Lawyer. Dan is a member of the Greensboro Bar Association's Community Involvement Committee, the Herb Falk Society Planning Committee, and served as Family Liaison for the GBA's Habitat for Humanity Project in 2009-10; a member of the Litigation Section, the Family Law Section, and the Citizen Lawyer Task Force of the North Carolina Bar Association. Dan is a two-time inductee into the GBA's Herb Falk Society (2011 and 2012) for his pro bono service.

In the community, Dan serves on the Steering Committee and Grantmaking Committee (Chair in 2012 and 2013) of the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro's Future Fund; serves on the Board of Directors of Seven Homes (a foster care and adoption services agency); is a presenter of the Parenting Under Two Roofs program at the Family Life Council; serves on the Board of Directors of Holy Trinity Day School; formerly served on the Board and Executive Committee of the Greensboro Opera Company; and interviews candidates for undergraduate admission for the Duke University Alumni Association. Dan also enjoys playing USTA league tennis and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Jeffrey T. Workman

Jeffrey T. Workman

Jeff advises and represents businesses and their owners in the formation of corporations and limited liability companies, the purchase and sale of businesses, the preparation and negotiation of contracts, and the resolution of disputes between and within businesses. He has a wide range of litigation experience representing businesses in matters involving contracts, commercial disputes, lien enforcement, fraud and unfair trade practices claims, and leasehold interest disputes concerning defaults, constructive evictions, and guarantor liability. Jeff also counsels business owners concerning business insolvencies, restructuring and personal asset protection planning.

A native of Greensboro, Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. Jeff is a member of the Greensboro and North Carolina Bar Associations. In the community, he has served on the Board of Directors of Buckled With Love, Inc., a local nonprofit advocate for child safety seat protection, and has volunteered his professional services to other nonprofit organizations including Triad Health Project and the Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Campaign of North Carolina.

Christina F. Johnson

Christina F. Johnson

Christina is passionate about the success of her clients' businesses. She contributes to their success by drawing upon her wide range of experience in the corporate arena, as well as her ability to think creatively and concretely to visualize the big picture and minute details for her client's needs.

She has assisted clients with forming and restructuring businesses, buying and selling company assets, identifying and protecting intellectual property, and evaluating and securing funding through commercial loans and private capital raises. She has advised businesses ranging from single-member LLCs to multi-national corporations on matters of corporate governance.

Christina drafts and negotiates contracts, including trademark and technology license agreements, consulting and other professional services agreements, and contracts with subcontractors. She evaluates and registers trademarks on the state and federal level.

She advises clients on legal issues of marketing through social media, sweepstakes, contest promotions, and print advertising. Christina graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. An accomplished musician, she received her Masters of Music from Yale University and lived and performed in Paris. Upon graduating from Fordham University School of Law in Manhattan, Christina practiced securities law in London for several years. Christina lives in Greensboro with her husband and their two young sons. She serves on the Board of Trustees of Triad Stage and supports the arts in North Carolina.

Chelsea E. Anderson

Chelsea E. Anderson

Chelsea practices primarily in the area of family law. She helps individuals in matters relating to separation, divorce, and adoptions, including equitable distribution of property, spousal support (post-separation support and alimony), child custody, and child support. Chelsea also practices in the area of business dispute resolution, helping businesses and individuals resolve disputes involving contracts, employment matters, shareholder issues, and other matters – whether by mediation, arbitration, or litigation.

Chelsea is originally from Baltimore, Maryland, and came to North Carolina to attend Elon University, where she received a bachelor's degree in Political Science. She then received her law degree from Elon University School of Law. In law school, Chelsea served as Vice President and Fundraising Chair for the Family Law Society, served as a Judge for the Elon University Moot Court Competition, and discovered her passion for client advocacy and her desire to help individuals navigate through one of life's most challenging experiences – separation and divorce.

Chelsea is also active in the Greensboro community, having served on the Grantmaking Committee of the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro's Future Fund. She is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Greensboro Bar Association. In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Karen has practiced healthcare and employment law in the Carolinas since 1992. In the healthcare area, Karen represents all types of healthcare providers in business transactions and in their dealings with governmental agencies. She concentrates her healthcare practice on corporate compliance programs, HIPAA issues and training, and the other specialized challenges facing today's healthcare industry. Regardless of the nature of the representation, Karen strives to identify all opportunities and options available to her clients to assist them in meeting their goals.

Karen is also available to provide supplemental or specialized health law assistance to law firms. Because of her extensive employment law experience, she is uniquely qualified to provide guidance needed by employers to successfully navigate the complicated and complex world of human resources. Karen provides legal counsel and business seminars for all types of businesses, ranging from 5-800 employees, assisting in the development of all aspects of human resources. Karen represents business clients across a wide array of industries and professions with respect to business formations, mergers and acquisitions, financing and financial restructuring, employment relations, real estate planning, and ongoing advice with respect to day-to-day business operations.

Karen earned a B.S. in Nursing from the University of North Florida and worked more than 10 years as a Registered Nurse in critical care, home health and Hospice before earning a J.D. from Mississippi College's School of Law.
